By hiring our venue, you agree to the following policy. These guidelines help us ensure that Unity Hub remains a safe, welcoming, and values-driven space for everyone in our community.

Our Purpose

Unity Hub is a Christian-based organisation dedicated to creating a space where everyone feels welcome, supported, and valued. Hiring our venue supports our mission to empower individuals, connect communities, and foster positive change in Logan.

Our Values and Pillars

All events at Unity Hub must reflect and respect our core pillars:

  • Unity and Love – Every person is treated with dignity, kindness, and respect.

  • Support and Safety – Our venue remains a safe, inclusive, and caring environment.

  • Training and Education – Activities that nurture growth, wellbeing, and empowerment are encouraged.

Who Can Hire the Venue

Unity Hub welcomes bookings for:

  • Community programs, meetings, conferences and social gatherings

  • Training, workshops, and educational events

  • Arts, cultural, and creative activities

  • Charity, not-for-profit, and local business functions

What We Cannot Support

To protect our values and community wellbeing, Unity Hub will not accept bookings for activities that:

  • Promote violence, hatred, or discrimination

  • Conflict with the safety and dignity of our community

  • Involve illegal activity, gambling, or adult-only entertainment

  • Directly undermine Unity Hub’s Christian ethos and family-friendly environment

General Hire Conditions

  • Alcohol (without prior permission), illicit drugs, and smoking are not permitted on the premises

  • Noise levels must comply with council regulations

  • Hirers are required to complete a general tidy-up, including:

    • Removing rubbish, including from outside areas and car parks

    • Spot vacuuming and mopping any sticky areas

    • Placing all rubbish bags in the skip provided in the car park

    • Cleaning all chairs and tables before packing them away

  • Children must be supervised at all times

Decision-Making

Unity Hub management reserves the right to decline or cancel bookings at its discretion in line with this policy.
