Yes, chairs and tables are included in the room hire. We have approximately 400 chairs located in the main auditorium, with additional chairs available in the lower auditorium. If you require more than 400 chairs, you are welcome to use the additional chairs; however, the same number must be returned downstairs before your hire ends.

Yes. If you choose not to hire Unity Hub’s sound equipment or sound technician, you are welcome to bring your own sound gear, including speakers, sound desks, cables, and related equipment.
Please note that if a Unity Hub sound technician is not on site, the sound desk/control area is strictly off limits and must not be accessed by hirers or guests.

Unity Hub has a commercial kitchen on site that operates as part of our café throughout the week. It is not available for hire or general use during events.
Catering companies are welcome to set up and serve food from the ‘hub’ room. Bench fridges and a small sink for tea and coffee preparation are available in this space. Please note that washing dirty dishes, cookware, or catering equipment on site is not permitted.

Yes, they are permitted with prior approval from Unity Hub.
Please note that any external companies or suppliers involved in setup must remove all equipment and items from the venue before your hire period ends.

Yes, provided the room is available. When calculating your booking time, please include any time required for setup before your event, as well as pack-down and cleaning afterwards.
Unity Hub does not provide setup or pack-down services. Your booking start and finish times refer to when the venue gates will be opened and closed.

All events, pack-down, and cleaning must be completed, and the building fully vacated, by 11:30pm to allow a Unity Hub staff member to lock up the venue.

We are generally flexible, particularly for evening events where there is no booking immediately following your hire.
You will be charged for any additional time used, including the lock-up staff member’s extra time, along with a $25 administration fee.

Yes. All hirers are required to complete a general tidy and basic clean before leaving the venue. This includes ensuring chairs and tables are clean before being packed away, spot vacuuming and mopping any sticky or dirty areas, removing all rubbish (including from outside areas and the car park), and placing rubbish bags in the skip provided.
Professional cleaners are then arranged by Unity Hub to complete a deeper clean of the common areas, hired rooms, and bathrooms, including restocking supplies where required.

Yes, smoking is permitted in designated smoking areas only. These locations are clearly signed and have smoking towers for cigarette butts.
Please note that additional fees will apply if cigarette butts are found outside the designated smoking areas.

There are 151 carparks in total. This includes 58 sealed and marked spaced (including 3 PWD spaces), 24 on the southern grass area, and 59 spaces on the northern grass area.

Yes. Food trucks are permitted on site and can either park near the main entrance roundabout, where there are two 10amp outdoor power outlets available, or on the grass area, which includes six 10amp outlets and two 15amp outlets located on the power pole.
